The meeting of the General Administration of Inspection and Measurement to discuss projects to develop the modernization of the systems of measurement of oil and gas and their derivatives in order to achieve greater transparency.

In this regard, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation today met with the Director General of the General Administration of Inspection and Measurement Eng. Abdulrahman Al Obeidi and Eng. Ali Al Saadi, Director of the Inspection Department, to follow up the activity and work of the General Administration of Inspection and Measurement in respect of projects to develop and modernize measuring systems in fields and oil ports.

Technical meetings held between the General Administration of Inspection and Measurement and the operating companies as well as the summary of the first meeting of the General Directorate of Inspection and Measurement with the coordinators of the measurement offices in ports and oil fields.

In addition to discussing the establishment of a unified technical manual covering the technical and engineering requirements of the systems of measurement of oil and gas and their derivatives in cooperation with a specialized bodies in this field and in line with international standards and approved standard specifications.
