NOC holds launch event for Benghazi oil conference in October.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) held an official launch event and announced in a press conference at the Arabian Gulf Oil Company the launch of Benghazi International Forum and Exhibition of Oil and Gas 2018 which will be held in Benghazi from 9 to 11 October. The NOC states that there will be participation of major local and international companies at the event.

A member of the management committee of the NOC, Jadallah al-Awakli, said that the event is a new experience in the field of exhibitions specialized in oil industries.

The six axes of the conference will be:

1-Exploration, production and development of reserves.

2-Maintenance and projects.

3-Refining and petrochemicals.

4-Health, safety, environment and sustainable development.

5-Digital innovation in the oil and gas industry.

6-Optional topics related to the oil and gas sector.

This comes after the meeting held by engineer Mustafa Sanalla in Aberdeen, Scotland, to open a wider horizons and explained to raise the Libyan production of oil, which has become clear that it is on the right track and the return of foreign companies to Libya is the best proof of that.
