National Oil Corporation and Schlumberger are discussing ways to increase production rates.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Eng. Mustapha Sinnallah met on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli with Ziad Bin Hammad, North Africa Regional Director of Schlumberger, in the presence of the Board members of Abu Al Qassim Shankir, Al Omari Mohammed and General Manager of Schlumberger in Libya, Director of Production Services for North Africa, Mr. Paulo Abatti, Deputy General Manager of the Company Libya Branch Mr. Saleh Abu Khurais, and the Director of the Reserve Development Department of the Corporation, Mr. Noureddine Shekman.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and discussed the company’s activities in Libya through providing a number of oil services to national companies. The company’s contribution was also discussed in the implementation of some projects and projects, especially in the field of training.
The meeting also discussed the Company’s plans to expand its presence and provide equipment related to the development and exploratory drilling techniques at the oil operations sites. Medium term plans were also discussed to increase production rates for 2018.
In addition to discuss the contribution of Schlumberger International through a workshop will be held between the two parties in the near future to study everything related to drilling techniques and methods of industrial lift.
