Increasing the activity of German companies in Libya .during the meeting of the Chairman of the Board with the German Ambassador.

On February 20, 2018, the President of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sannallah received the German Ambassador to Libya, Mr. Christian Bock, and his accompanying delegation in the presence of Mr. Abulqasim Shengir, Director General of Exploration and Production and Mr. Salah Bin Ali, Director of the International Cooperation Bureau.

During the meeting, they discussed the joint relations in the oil and gas field and referred to the efforts exerted by the National Oil Corporation to raise the production capacity of crude oil and to emphasize the importance of stability of the security situation in improving and continuing production in the oil regions.

The Chairman stressed that the National Oil Corporation is working to raise the Libyan production of crude oil to higher levels and stressed the full welcome of the return of foreign companies to Libya.

The two sides also discussed the activity of German company Ventershall in Libya and the desire of a number of German companies to enter the Libyan market.
